Day 2009 at the Long Island Marriott. This year, AFPLI introduced
a Major Gifts Workshop with a bonus: “The Ask, The Gift and The Why.”
The presenting partner was Bank of America and the keynote was given by Robbe
Healey, executive committee chair, board of direcctors, AFP International. The
honorees were: Robert (Robbie) Donno, The Horace Hagedorn Outstanding Philanthropist
Award; CA, Inc., Outstanding Corporation; Jaclynne Jacobs, Outstanding Fundraising
Executive; Mindy Alpert, Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer; Ryan, Sean and Kyle
