Green Building Companies At Home and Garden Expo

The Stony Brook Home and Garden Expo at Stony Brook University included a special section of green building professionals this year. The Long Island chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC-LI) kicked off the weekend with a special reception for building industry professionals and students at the Expo.

The “Living and Learning Green - Long Island” section of the Expo featured professionals from manufacturers of green products to answer homeowners’ questions about the economic, environmental and health-related benefits of green products and design. Professionals participated in educational seminars, which were conducted by Natalie Weinstein at the Expo, addressed a wide range of green topics.
