The Long Island Center for Business & Professional
Women held their 30th Annual Achievers’ Awards Gala at the Fox Hollow.
Here they recognize the accomplishments of exemplary women who have excelled
in their chosen fields. The honorees were: Elaine Burnett, Gloria Kick,
Joyce Russell, Susan Shevlin, Diane Womack and Margaret Lambert.
The Long Island Center’s Achievers’ combined work and dedication
add special meaning to the Achievers’ Awards. The honor is reserved for
those identified as having truly made a difference.
Over the years, the Long Island Center has honored more than 150 individuals
in fields as diverse as banking, community service, education, finance, government,
healthcare, law, philanthropy and beyond.
